Our goal in the children’s ministry is to give your child a full understanding and biblical knowledge about God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We want your children to fall in love with God, to do God’s work everyday of their lives, and to listen to the Holy Spirit. Our hope is that your kids will become a generation on fire for the Lord that will give their all to Jesus and influence others to want to know God. Sunday Morning Preschool Ministry10:30am - Education Building
In our nursery every Sunday, we have a full time staff member and a volunteer.
When you visit on Sunday morning, you will be greeted by Ms. Bea in our baby
room. In our nurseries, we provide a fun, safe environment so that you can feel
comfortable and enjoy going to church and worshipping God. Both nurseries do
their best to make sure that your child enjoys coming to church and that your
child begins to learn about God’s love and His Word.
Nursery & Birth to 12 months & 12 months to 36 months
Three, Four, and Five year oldsThe goal of our three, four, and five year olds is to help them learn how to worship God, learn how to communicate with God through prayer, discover the Holy Spirit, and explore God’s word. Every Sunday this class begins with worship designed for preschoolers. After worship, the children will enter into lesson time that is filled with interactive stories from Old Testament and New Testament, various craft activties, and prayer time. Teachers for threes, fours, and fives are: Lori Coward, Robyn Korn, Paula Lambeth, and Tiffany Bishop.
10:30am Children’s Ministry- Student
Our Sunday morning program for Kindergarten through 4th Grade, starts off
every week in the Student Center with worship. During worship your child will
enter into God’s presence through music, dance, and song. They will learn how
to hear God’s voice. At the end of worship, your child will have a time to receive prayer and
also learn how to pray for others. Our worship leaders are David & The Boy Band, Angela Schaefer and The Boys and Linda Harper and the Farm Team. After worship, we feature a weekly drama/skit relating the lesson topic to a live interaction. Each week the topic of study is presented straight from the Bible and in an object lesson. Learning the story verbally is great and the kids also enjoy learning through an active game/activity that further emphasizes the Biblical Truth. Small group break out occurs at the end in order to "unpack" the teaching with the appropriate grade levels.
Kindergarten through 4th grade
5th Grade - The GAP
5th graders start by going to the main service. They will also participate in communion with the whole church body. At the end of worship, they are dismissed to go to their lesson time. At the end of the service, please pick your child up from upstairs in the education building. Paul and Julie Burson enjoy teaching this class every Sunday. Their goals as teachers are to equip their students to become mighty warriors for God. Paul & Julie hope that they can serve as ambassadors for God by presenting the Word, praying, and worshipping with their students in such a manner that it will prompt the children to seek and maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that the learning process doesn’t end with Sunday school class. Each child should be memorizing Bible verses and praying on a regular basis at home. We want to empower each child to spread the gospel in their community.
