Generous Giving Model
To seek, to save, and to transform lives through Christ in our city and the world...
...by being faithful and generous in everything.
The following is a spiritual formation model of growth for our church that will challenge those who call Inverness Vineyard Church their home to evaluate their phase of generosity at any given time:
am not a giver, but would like help beginning.
I am not a giver, but would like help beginning.
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”
The goal is to learn about why we give; to embrace principles of sowing and reaping, intentionality, cheerfulness, being made “rich”. To see our generosity as compared to Christ, service to others by supplying needs, God getting the glory.
- Give one time (or thing)

and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in
need and prayed to God regularly. One day at about three in the afternoon he
had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said,
“Cornelius!” Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked. The
angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial
offering before God.”
The goal is to promote discipline in our finances so that we can be increasingly generous.
