FLOW - Family life on Wednesday @ 6:30 PM

FLOW = Family Life On Wednesdays. Adults and youth begin in the Main Auditorium with worship. Then the youth leave to go to their own group downstairs in the Student Center. Adults will stay for small group discussion that is centering around the ministry of the Holy Spirit. We will also be having Awana in the Student Center upstairs for children. And our Young Adults group meets at the home of Jonathan & Jessica Bush (1817 Kirkman Cove, B'ham 35242). There's something for the whole family available on Wednesdays @ IVC!

IVC Membership class & luncheon - may 7 @ 12 noon

If you have considered joining our church or just want to know more about the Vineyard, this is the time to do it! We will be hosting this class immediately after service on May 7th. We will provide lunch and childcare. Membership does have its privileges. Please email and let us know how many are coming.

Luau with a purpose - may 10

You do not want to miss this night of fun, food, fellowship, laughing and "dancing". This will be a unique event like we have never done before. It is our annual night of having a great time together as a church while helping to raise money for some specific purposes. This year, it's for sending our students to Camp Vineyard and helping fund our Kids Serve event. There will be a lot more details to follow but wanted to get it on calendars for Wednesday, May 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Our church's "VICTORY" Vacation Bible School will be Monday, June 12th through Thursday, June 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The Bible is filled with examples of God's people shouting and cheering in response to His mighty acts of power. VICTORY invites children to do the same by remembering who God is, what He has done, and what He promises to do! You can register your children here on our website. For more info or to volunteer to help, please contact Jason Daggett. There will be a Volunteer Meeting after church on Sunday, May 7th.

We are having some special times of refreshing in the Lord's presence each weekday at noon in the downstairs of the Student Center. Some of our Pastoral Staff and Elders facilitate this hour of prayer that has been going now for over 5 years. We begin each day with worship and setting our heart and mind on the Lord. Please come if you need something from the Lord or just want to pray with others concerning whatever is on the Lord's heart each day.

Our church is honored to host the North Shelby group in the Student Center on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Biblically balanced program designed to help people overcome their hurts, hang-ups and habits. It is based on the New Testament principle that we need others in order to get well emotionally and spiritually. CR is now in over 20,000 churches around the world. Come check it out and see what Celebrate Recovery is all about. They begin each week at 6:00 p.m. with food and fellowship and then at 6:30 have worship, large group teaching and break out into small groups.
